January 1, 2012 - "Call to Artists" Announcement launched for the first annual Plein Air Festival & Competition at Canandaigua, NY.
March 30 - Deadline for plein air artists entry submission to the Plein Air Competition, Ontario County Arts Council, Canandaigua, NY. Entries include completed Artist Entry Form, Jpeg samples of artwork and $35 Entry Fee. (all details here)
April 21 - Invited artists are notified of their participation in the first annual Finger Lakes Plein Air Competition.
June 7 - Artists Welcoming Reception
June 8 - Finger Lakes Plein Air Competition begins.
Registration opens at 7:00 a.m. Paintings returned and stored by 6:00 p.m. Artists are invited to evening social activity/dinner.
June 9 - Second day of competition begins. Registration opens at 7:00 a.m. Paintings returned and stored 6:00 p.m. Artists are invited to evening social activity/dinner.
June 10 -
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - Competitors deliver paintings to judging area.
